If this was billed as a novel, even an autobiographical novel, well, then it's FICTION.
True. There is a note in the book though (at least the old paperback) about the author being real and all that, so people can be forgiven for believing it.
I expect a lot of slash fen have read it, it's definitely one we would home in on. :-)
What it turns out to be is far more interesting than what it purported to be.
Yes, really. This was the first I had heard of the "outing" (don't get around much *g*) and I'm interested in the legal angles about lit anyway, so this is just fascinating. I haven't read her second book, but would like to one of these days. I hope she will keep writing.
A friend usually sends me stuff he thinks I'd want to read from the Times, it's only if I want to send someone *else* there that I run into hassles. Thanks for the tip.
