I was of mixed feelings about the ep. I liked the team interaction. I liked the unsub/story etc. I am liking Rossi, even tho he irritates me quite often with his non-team-like behaviour. I knew, of course, that there was something wrong with Garcia's hot date, altho my scenario was that the cannibalistic unsub was a red herring and the hot date was actually the guy who'd been released from the mental institution. But, whatever, I'm not happy they shot Garcia. I would much rather have had an episode that gave us more backstory about her -- well, I suppose the next one might. And the thing, flounce, with MOrgan just surprised me. I always assumed she was actually as cool with him as she seemed and not secretly hiding a teenage girl type crush. This recolours their entire interaction and I'm not sure yet how I feel about that.

I'll have to rewatch but I always felt the same as you about the Garcia-Morgan relationship; but I didn't see her reaction in this ep as necessarily implying she was hot for Morgan. I think it's hard to tell because the issues are so entangled. She may not care in an "interested" way what he thinks of her, but could still care about his looksist assumptions a LOT.
So it hasn't recolored them for me in that way. But there was just something off in the way they depicted her reaction. It could take a bunch of analysis -- or I may never be able to pinpoint the exact wrong words. I sort of pity the show writers who were on chat after that episode aired! *g* Yet I do hope they heard some of the negative taste it left, even if they only really went on to talk about the strike or something.
