Noah...I have had the priviledge of singing next to you for only 3 days and that was enough for me to realize your frikin awesome man. I mean mediocre people don't make reading chorus for two years or all state in general every year since you were a soprano for all practical purposes. SO whatever that is worth
alright, so i can sight read and do well on a theory test. wahoo. these things affect only placement, not acceptance. colleges still don't think my voice is good enough to accept me.
Dude seriously people in this world are gonna tell you you are no good. But that doesn't mean you go around and start believe all that bull crap. I've heard you sing. I think you are awesome. If a certain college is looking for a certain sound then maybe that is different but that doesn't mean you should quit singing all together. That is just a waste. If you enjoy it. Do it. Maybe you focus on composition and sing for fun. And when the college that fits you best comes along. Then they will love you. Like I do...I mean uh...well you get the point
Fisticuffs currently being bared, heading westerly. I'll be hitting Carnegie Mellon first (who's idea was it to name it after fruit anyway. Stupid fruit) then Northwestern. I heart you so much.
1. thespians is coming up. ahhhh! :) 2. are you kidding me? i've seen you sing. you're passionate and who ever told you that quote up there has no brain. trust me. the world needs people like you who love music and excell in it. and honestly...that person was just jealous. i mean, i only sang with you for like 30 minutes at that sight reading thing, but it was enough to figure out what an amazing voice you have. please keep it up bc one day i'll buy your cd and play it for my child and be like "i knew that guy!". (but you have to buy my country cd too...even if you don't like country...hah)
noah, you can't give up though. no matter what. you're way too passionate about music to. i mean, i have people tell me all the time to shut up and stop singing but i don't let it stop me. ....(i'm practically a walking radio station (a fuzzy one may i add)). but you can't let the turkey get you down. do you know how many times ELVIS was turned down? andlook what happened to him!
noah, you are amazing, any college that doesn't accept you is basically retarded ya win some, ya lose some, so don't let it get you down. and on the bright side, thespians is coming up and the niceville team and i will so be there so be happy!!!
