well see i don't know much about actors and stuff. but my first thought was kate winslet, but not the "titanic" kate. the "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" kate. it would focus on your search for independence and at the same time your selfless nurturing side. it would show your ability to take of people. in the end you would find your independence when you realize you have to nurture yourself too.
goddammit. i had this huge long comment and then there was an error. so starting over...
i never saw sunshine but i guess blue hair would be alright. though, i am beginning to accept my hair and perhaps a sudden change would only upset this new found balance. nonetheless, who knew my own question would pose as a threat? so hard to answer. i have no particular actress in mind at the moment, so instead i'll give you two options (are you enjoying my colloquial style of writing at the present?):
the comedy - a girl who suffers memory lose due to several severe blows to the head (catch phrase "there's a ceiling/pole/two by four/cat there!"). laughing would ensue.
or
the drama - a girl who travels to chicago on foot looking for something. the movie would focus on the journey and all the people she meets along the way. however, the catch is, when she gets there she still doesn't know what she's looking for. so you see, the purpose isn't clear. yeah?
