Not sure if his Trouble is actually a Trouble or some weird manipulation of whatever causes the Troubles and his own excessive time in the Barn.I got the impression that those black spheres weren't so much a Trouble as... part of the mystic history of the barn? Or something. I'm not sure I can explain it properly. But I think William has learned how to manipulate whatever supernatural abilities the barn is/has/creates and that we'll see other "powers" that he's able to control

I hope the writers aren't just making it up as they go along. It'd be nice if everything ties together; James, the Crocker boxes, Sarah's rings everything ties together.
Well, I'm more than a little convinced that they don't have a calendar on hand when they seed all these plot threads, but some of it is definitely planned out. Apparently, if you watch Season 1 watching for Audrey touching Nathan ... they don't, not even a little, until that revelatory kiss.

I think this episode answered more questions than it asked, for once. Maybe why I didn't really have much to say, either, though I mostly enjoyed it.

I know that they had originally planned to reveal that he was able to feel her at the end of the first episode, but they held it off.
