When the Lighthouse Breaks

It's two Haven reviews for the price of one, in which I try not to complain too much about how busy I am and instead review the last two episodes of Haven, "When the Bough Breaks" and "The Lighthouse."

I didn't actually dislike these two episodes, I want to make that clear. It was still Haven, after all, and I will still happily obsess over it

Or is it much more complicated than that?

It's Haven. Of course it's much more complicated than that.

Brownie points are not so inspiring. Now actual brownies, on the other hand....

Oh, you can redeem brownie points for brownies.

Ah, see, you should be clearer about the redemption program.

Also, it occurs to me this morning that the city of Haven was named after Tuwiuwok (sp?) Bluffs, 'haven for God's orphans', so perhaps the high number of adopted characters is not such a fall-back? Maybe it's just a little more literal than assumed.

But it's early and still dark out and mornings are not conducive for lucid thought, so what do I know?

Hmmm, the idea about Haven being an orphanage of sorts had never occurred to me. (Files idea away.)
