Two people on my friends list have posted about swiss chard recipes in the last 5 hours. The two friends are absolutely unconnected to each other. I've never even HEARD of swiss chard. I feel like I'm missing some well-known great secret of life.

I had a similar experience a few years back with heirloom tomatoes. I'd never heard of them until they talked about them in our Cook's magazine, and within the next couple days I saw/heard them mentioned twice more.

we used to grow swiss chard in our garden growing up. It's delicous! It kinda eats like cooked spinach. I like it wilted with garlic and olive oil - very basiic, but very good
