One thing (among many)I will stress to my children is to trust your gut. Listen to that feeling, that message from within. It may be sad, terrifying or otherwise but don't shut it out. No, don't think yer flaky at all . . . I can't even count the times my "gut" told me something and my instincts were right.
Gonna bust yer chops a bit now . . . but it's funny how you brought this up because this Christmas your Mom gave me a book that has to do with this stuff called "The Gift of Fear: Survival signals that protect us from violence." She said she'd bought several copies and kept going on about how reading it "really can save your life" . . . she way she spoke of it ya'd think she was plugging the book! Was very nice of her . . . wonder if she insisted you read it too?
