i can't do anything about it. my mom counts on what piddlance of money he actually brings in to pay for bills. he barely brings in anything.. but she still needs that 10% for bills.. yanno?

I'm sure she would find a way to manage. If a single mom raising three kids and having a lower than the poverty line income can manage then I am sure your mom can too. She'll be able ot figure it out, that's not your problem. But when someone physicly abuses you, then that is your problem and something has to be done about it. Personaly I wouldn't call teh police on someone who abused me, I would probably drug them with ruffies and dismemeber them. Then again I've been lucky enough to never have to do that.
