so olivia and i went to Rathbun's last night where her brother is a chef. and i can i just say that holy crap. their food is fucking amazing. we both left there with the post-thanksgiving meal coma. great beer, amazing food, then... the dessert. as olivia put it- the pastries are the "imogen heap of desserts". oh my. i'm not even hungry for

yeah they are. i don't really get into the whole american idol thing but my parents sucked me in this year. apparently they've only gotten 5,000 entries so far and the deadline is tuesday. i thought they'd have way more entries than that and i'm sure 90% of them are crap songs anyways. i figure, what have i got to lose.
