I read Pilgrim at Tinker creek when I was in my teens. In the 1970s. Is that even possible? I guess it is. Maybe should read it again.

It certainly seems like the sort of book that could stand up to a second read. Perhaps it even demands one. I only read it a few years ago, but I'd certainly like to read it again sometime.

Do you mind if I ask how you found this post? I'm always curious when people I don't know drop by my journal.

You're welcome! Hope you enjoy it. If you're looking for more Dillard, you might also want to try The Writing Life. That's my second favorite of hers, after Pilgrim At Tinker Creek.
