What a situation to have to deal with. The company is moving to London for good, or just temporarily? That seems like a big piece of news to come up so suddenly; have they been planning it for a while?
A 1.5-2 hour commute sounds awful to me. I don't think I could do it, but I do know people who have similar commutes, and they don't seem to mind it too much.

Well, I'm sorry to hear it; it certainly is lousy timing for you, just as you're trying to get settled in your new place and everything. Still, at least the company is being decent about it and not just summarily letting people go. As things stand now, you're in a position to make a choice based on what works best for you, whether it's staying with this job and commuting or taking the opportunity to explore other employment avenues. If the commuting is tolerable in the short term, maybe you could look for another job while still working this one.
So yeah, it's not an ideal situation, but it could also be a lot worse than it is. Keep looking at the bright side, and best of luck whatever you decide.
I just feel like I'm slightly in limbo right now, because I honestly won't know for sure how I feel about the whole situation until I actually get to try commuting, as I've never had a job that required a lot of travel before.
