It hasn't snowed this late in the season since the 50's we broke a record with some hard-core snow this week. The previous record for late snow was March 10th.
I want to be outside building stuff! Johnny's stage, the kennel project and the porch project!
But it's too cold, so when the sun goes down, you can only read or do stuff inside.

Johnny & I drove out to a farm in North Plains and got a beautiful companion for Columbine today. I named him Eligh, and yeah... that's the spelling I wanna go with, I haven't looked up what is considered "correct" and I don't care.

I can't believe that she says she isn't "gay-bashing" in the middle of this. What an extreme, horrifying & hateful rant. The fact that someone like this can hold political office- even in Oklahoma... is beyond the pale. -
Room Mate Wanted!!
Seeking female, non-smoker to share a raccoon-proof 12x6 kennel with a hay-lined dog-house and small wading pool. Must be friendly and enjoy being petted by humans. Must speak fluent duck. A rescue situation is preferred.
Ducks are social animals and will suffer if they don't have companionship.

I Guess This is My Idea of Wild Fun...
I went on a Bird Walk.
I am so impressed with our Metro Regional Parks & Greenspaces Departments here in Portland. Their website has tons of content. They have all kinds of activities, volunteer opportunities, and field trips. Everybody can have a chance to go explore the protected areas & see wildlife that we have right here in the city.
