I had called him two days in a row with no call back from him. So I called him AGAIN yesterday and he decided to actually pick up the phone. Ugh. All he was doing was making excuses one of them being that things have been really busy.
Uh HELLO, its not my fault that you are taking on more work than you can handle! And why don't you just call me and admit it upfront but give me a timeline I can look forward to instead of just never calling and not doing what you said you were going to do. He finally admitted to being at fault for not communicating very well with us.
We've had a pile of grass, wood, stone, etc, trash in other words sitting on one side of our driveway for a month and last week he said they would come by and pick it up and he didn't. Also we have wood and pipes laying in our main front yard (been there a month as well) and its killing the grass under it. I told him he was going to have to fix the front yard and he says they will, but they won't redo the whole yard, but he says it will look the same. Excuse me, but how in the world is new grass going to look the same as the winter worn, barely watered because we had the sprinklers off for him when they weren't showing up, NOT GREEN grass? I joked with dave that he's going to go down the street and uproot a few rows of someone elses similarly winter-worn grass and replant it in our yard.
There's other stuff here and there I won't bore you with, but I think yesterday finally made a dent in his head because HE SAYS our grass should be in on Friday and the area cleaned up. BUT, we still have to wait a week for our wooden gate. (He JUST mentioned that his guy doing the gate only works on weekends) I told him we'll see.
GOOD news is when I got home from work, our trees and plants had been delivered and were in our driveway and in the backyard. That made me happy. The trees were taller than I was expecting, which is a good thing. Then this morning the guys were there, starting to plant them. Can't wait to get home tonight!
