Esther was extremely disoriented when she regained consciousness. At first she wasn't sure what happened, or where she ended up. Where was Shahra? Was she safe? They were just at Mr. Ignarts and trying to figure out their next move when --

She sat up quickly, adrenaline rushing through her veins as everything hit her at once.
The two moons in the sky. The graveyard near the church. The strange contraption on the ground nearby.
She was back in Discedo.
Esther closed her eyes and took a deep breath. How long was she gone? Why was she back? Was everyone still here, or would she be alone again?
Too many questions.
After another minute she tried to calm down and picked up the communicator.

[VOICE]
...Hello? This is Esther Blanchett. I -- well, I don't know how long I've been gone but I've returned, and --
[ There's a pause. She sounds tired and a bit awkward. Then in a slightly hopeful tone -- ]
Father Abel, are you still here? Father Tres? Duchess?
