Now that I have admitted to myself my intense dislike for our scene, it's difficult to work on it casually. I must get to a place where it no longer bothers me, and then I'll be able to write ( Read more... )

I can if need be. Plus, these aren't little kids, and that's the group that really tries my patience at times. And there are only two of them :)

I can't get my head around these classes that you do. Your education system is so different to that over here, and at times it seems completely alien! - and as for that pop quiz!!!!

The only thing that I recognise, really, is semester - as the semester system has now been introduced into a large number of English universities, and the government is keen that that should continue (remember, our universities are publically-funded institutions) - plus many UK degrees are now modular, which again, is something that the government is keen to see develop. However, even following a modular degree, a student over here would not follow such a range of courses.
