I personally haven't done it, but if you do, I would recommend using something like contact paper to cover it up so if something does happen to it, you'll still get warranty? Otherwise, get a case and deco that? Good luck~

Oh, I void the warranty of pretty much any electronic I ever get by tinkering with it. I upgraded my ram, so my warranty is already void. c: I don't think cases are made for this netbook, but I'm not very concerend about it damaging the netbook, because there is actually a rubbery covering on the top of the netbook, which is where I would be decoing.

Agree with poster above me, definitely try to obtain something that'll allow you to remove the deco afterwards.

I'd also suggest going for something lighter than caulk for your cream (assuming you want to use caulk as you have it tagged), something you can varnish for extra protection of the cream and the cabs. If you can get your hands on it, I recommend DecoArt's Texture Paste, or you can mix Hearty (or similar paper clays) with Elmer's white glue and a water for another cream (just note, the latter method, while still light, doesn't hold ridges well).

Well, I decoed a DS game case that was made of a similar material as the rubbery thing on my netbook, and I'm able to peel off the deco and stick it back. (I used caulk)

I will definitely look into other types of creams. Caulk is the only one I have worked with, but I am open to other types. I actually bought another tube of caulk yesterday and I'm finding it a lot harder to work with than I have in the past. Maybe it's just a different brand.

Thanks!

It Is Suggested To Use Alex Plus Silicone / Whipple For Decoden-ing notebooks , use a layer of glue / paint base to give it finishes , leave to dry at least 3 days . Voila =D
