Valentine's Day.

It wasn't a day that Myungsoo appreciated so much. For as long as he could remember, no girl had ever approached him with chocolate before. He assumed that it had been all his fault anyway; when he was in school his mysterious, quiet demeanor turned people away from him, labeling him as 'that freaky kid'. That much didn't matter since he was out of there, and now with six other guys who cared for him like he was family.

But still, something was missing, something his band mates couldn't exactly help (unless he went both ways, then that's a different story). He wondered what it was like to get a valentine.

It was after KJE chocolate, when Myungsoo and the boys went up against Teen Top for some friendly competition. Him along with the rest of the boys were dragging on, tired and ready to go back to their dorm and catch some sleep before they fulfilled their busy schedules. The ride there was unusually quiet for their bunch, and even Dongwoo who was mostly energetic had fallen asleep with his face pressed against the glass of the van. As soon as the van rolled to a stop, Myungsoo stayed rooted to his seat, almost being squashed by the others as they bickered their way out. He rolled his eyes as he finally got out, trailing behind slowly when he noticed Sungjong waiting for him by the door. Seeing his cute, innocent expression made the older boy smile.

"What's up?" he said to his friend as they walked. "Everything okay?"

"I wanted to tell you something." Sungjong looked more nervous than he ever had been, which confused Myungsoo. He followed the blonde to the kitchen, watching as Sungjong grabbed a container off the counter and walked back over to him. He stretched out his hands, offering it to Myungsoo with his head down. Myungsoo took the container curiously, opening it and greeted by the sight of chocolate.

"That day when you asked me what I was doing in here, I was making that...for you." Sungjong was eyeing some detail on Myungsoo's jacket, cheeks flushing. "I know I'm not a girl, and I don't want to hide my feelings anymore. I just wanted to be honest with myself, and you." With that being said, he turned heel and walked away quickly, leaving his bewildered friend standing in the kitchen alone.

Myungsoo stared after Sungjong before looking down at the container of chocolate. He had not seen this coming at all; he hadn't known the blonde had any kind of feelings for him (then again, he was slow when it came to things like this anyway). He was impressed with how bold Sungjong was; he already knew his confession could change their entire friendship completely.

He reached in, pulling out a small piece and putting it into his mouth. He chewed, tasting the rich, sweet taste and smiling to himself. I guess I should return the favor.

A Month Later

Sungjong thought Myungsoo would hate him completely after his confession. He was already prepared to face the cold shoulder he thought he would recieve, the hardened stares whenever it would come up...but they never came. Instead he was greeted wth the same old Myungsoo as before, with no change in their relationship whatsoever. That alone had scared the blonde even more. Would this mean a rejection on White Day?

Finally, that day had come and Sungjong's nerves were just on the brink. Myungsoo was still not showing any kind of reaction to his confession a month ago so he accepted it as rejection. Although he'd tried not to get his hopes up, he was a little dejected. At least their friendship hadn't shown any change.

Sungjong was the last to wake up that morning. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, sitting up in his bed and hearing a soft thud as something hit the floor. He peered over the side of his bed to see a red box wrapped in a satin creamy colored bow. He frowned, leaning over to pick up the box and examining it. A note with his name on it was attached to the box. He picked it off, opening it to read:

I know confused you about how I felt. I wasn't too sure about how I felt either but I think I'm willing to give this a shot if you still are too.

It didn't have a name on it but Sungjong already knew who it had came from. He smiled, opening the box to see white chocolate beaming up at him. He picked one up, taking a small bite and enjoying the rich flavor that met his tastebuds. He tossed the box to the side, getting out of bed and headed to the kitchen where he knew everyone was at, humming happily to himself.

"Good morning," Sunggyu greeted the younger as he came in. "Did you have a good dream or something?"

"Hmm, why would you say that?" Sungjong asked his leader as he took a seat by the table.

"You're practically glowing over there," Hoya pointed out, grinning.

"Oh." Sungjong shrugged, trying hard not to grin. "Just in a good mood, I guess." He looked across the table to meet eyes with the man who put him in such a good mood and the two of them exchanged discreet smiles.
