I need some advice for my bedroom window. It needs curtains. I took the ugly yellow rod they had hanging up down & now I'm not sure what to do about it. Any suggestions would be helpful! I'll post pics of the rest of my apartment too, so you can get the feel of my things!!

I was thinking just a bright color too, I'll have to start hunting more. Curtains are hard!

I would do a single panel that hangs in the corner but can be closed as needed... As far as color, I would go with a pinky/coral-y color like in your bedspread... Material - something light and reflective like your shower curtain... Ideally, something silk-like that is duochrome (appears to be different colors depending on the light) in pink and coral. :-) I'll go hunting and see if I can find an image for you. :-D

They had this cool thing in the Trading Spaces book where you use hooks to do a giant drapy window frame with fabric. They had this purple room that was beautiful! It is in the book 'Color.'

I'm a bit late to this, but...I have the same shower curtain, and I love it! I went with grey rugs and silver bathroom accessories.
