In her lj, irish279 is starting to post recipes. I liked the idea, so I'm stealing borrowing it. Here's my candy cane ice cream recipe. I'd love it if everybody would reply with their favorite Holiday-time recipe. Merry Christmas all! *hugs*

ohh, the Candy Cane Ice Cream sounds wonderful and I'm going to have to give it a try one day. But you asked for us to reply with our favorite holiday receipes so I'm sending you the one for the traditional Christmas morning breakfast dish we have every year with the family. It's called a Strada and you can change it as you like ( ... )

This sounds sooo good! I'm not going to wait for Christmas to try it. I really like the leftover pizza variation, but I want to try the spinach casserole too. Yum!

Enjoy.

This is a receipe you can play with and make it your own. The original version is my mom's and the italian sausage and spinich is my concoction that just jumped into my brain one day. What works really good is if you get an order of the cheese covered garlic bread and us that. Just make sure that you're careful in putting the pieces into the pan you only want the bread touching the bottom and the parts with the cheese up because if not.. it will stick no matter what you do. Enjoy and I hope you like it.
