It sounds like you were more wrapped up in pure Korean stuff when you were here...

When I go home, it's always a little 이상하다 right at first, but I quickly get my bearings, and then it always feels like I've only been gone a week.

Thank you for summing that up so well. It's what's been on my mind for the past few months. I can't imagine being in the west long term now....the first two weeks are always cool, since it's a different setting, but after that, boredom sets in. Everything's just too familar. Korea's familar too, but it's not as ingrained as the US is.
