Just out of curiosity, is the race thing playing into this at all?
I know that the President-elect is the most heavily guarded president in a very long time..... just wondering if that paranoia is going to bite us..
And I was never publicly investigated, but I'm almost certain I was monitored for awhile.
My mother and I play this little game on the phone. She'll call me and say, "Is the bomb ready?"
I reply with, "Allahu Akbar. Soon we crush those who oppose us."
One day when we did this, I heard a distinct click on the line and thought I heard someone breathing for a fraction of a second.
You might think, "did someone pick up the other line?" Nope. We were both on cell phones.....
I digress, you're right of course, this is a very dangerous thing. I hope it's remnants of President Bush's policies and not something new.

I think it's entirely a new thing. If it were leftover GWB Policy, it would have been happening for the last 8 years......or am I missing something?

I don't know.... Problem is, it could have been one of those "Homeland Security" leftover bits of joy.... but I just can't remember.
I suppose it's sad that we don't know which administration is screwing us, huh?
