I had my first day of work alone today. I opened and closed and worked all alone.  If I messed up terribly then I don't know about it. I did alright, I think.

I think I need to get back to writing. I have so many muses constantly distracting me and reading book upon book just temporarily distills it. I finished a 500 page book the second day I got

I love places like this. Oftentimes I like the food better at a mom & pop place over a big chain restaurant. We went to Red Lobster today and my husband and I have decided they're just so expensive anymore. Their food is ok, but it costs my husband and I $45.00 just for us. Our daughter paid for herself. I think that's kind of high.

This is why I love the south. The culture here is great, I think. It makes me wonder how common it would be to find a place like this in other areas. And if so, would it be surrounded by trees? Probably not lol
