I have room for a small get-together (maybe like ten people comfortably), and I'd love to have people over now that I've finally gotten my apartment to a place that feels like home. I agree, I bet it'll be pretty un-awkward, especially if you bring games like Cranium or Apples to Apples or Balderdash to start things off. Another good idea is to have everyone bring a dessert or a tasty beverage. :D

Grillling, that's all you need to say to most people for them to smile. that's something I miss about not having any outdoor space to call my own.

You're going to throw an awesome party! Bringing people together who don't know each other can be interesting, to say the least! Hey, remember that time we went to that party in college park, to the house of the guy I had only met once, and he made fun of me for showing up 30 minutes after the party started? OK, your party is totally going to be LESS awkward than that, mostly because your friends know how to do more interesting things than play flip cup. I HOPE!

provide some drinks, meat, and icebreaker games and you'll be set :)
