I don't believe humans are capable of helping one another without something like that being the driving factor. [a shrug] If there is a universal truth, that might well be it.

...you are likely right. Still, it was not an unwelcome notion; I will admit, it was nice seeing people helping each other, even if I only heard about it from word of mouth. Allen said they all-- [he stop, shakes his head before continuing.] Then again, Allen does not seem very human. I do not know if I can count him among them.
