Me too ... A pregnancy is never a woman's responsibility alone. For the fact that she carries the baby inside her , more often than not in cases of pregnancy outside the socially accepted marriage frame ... the woman tends to get to carry the emotional and physical weight of it. Sad !!!

Such a tragic situation for any person to find herself in, but especially one so young. At that point, it feels as if there are no good choices. Though I think Maria would rather have risked marrying too young than the choice she and Ajay made instead. :(

Its tragic at any age actually ... isnt it ... when you are younger parents might probably be around to help you deal with it and when you are older you are resumed to be capable of dealing with it perhaps ... The choice of abortion is never easy that way ... and always traumatic

Well isn't sadness the other side of the happy coin. I know ... I just wish men were more considerate when it came to women getting pregnant by them outside marriage. It never is easy for the woman .. having to bear more than the man ever does. So more caution by the woman and compassion from the man is in order.

That was a tough story to read because of the emotional content. I think it worked well due to the lead up, you could understand what brought the characters to the conclusion. Tough though
