You captured it really well..Great read..and brought back memories when the Monkey Man was a terror and news readers went berserk..:D

I like how busy this is. It's hard to really get across things like this, people reacting to things both as individuals and as a society, but this really works - there's so much going on here but each individual perspective makes sense and it isn't cluttered and it doesn't jump around.

no one had actually 'seen' the monkey man. Not even the so-called victims.
Doesn't this just figure? Sounds like encounters with "Bigfoot" over here in the States.

This was an engaging setting and recounting of a unique urban legend. :)

I really enjoyed this, especially that it was inspired by the "real" reports of Kala Bandar attacks. It was fun to read the havoc caused by the rumors about Kala Bandar.
