After all this time, I've finally read my first Neil Gaiman book.  And, not surprisingly, I loved it.  What say you guys, was the movie anywhere near as good as the book?

I will assume you read Stardust? I kind of actually love the movie even more. They changed the ending a bit and it makes me happier. Plus, Charlie Cox is ridiculously cute. definitely rent it or download it or whatever!

Yes. Ok I'm not gonna lie, I was mostly waiting for you and/or Kendra to reply to this because I value your Neil opinions most, for obvious reasons xD So if you like it, it must be good lol

And omg Charlie Cox. Honestly, before I read the book or knew what it was about, all I had to go on was the promo photos of the movie. And even then I wanted to see it because I thought the main character was HELLA hot. So yes, Charlie Cox, yes.

I highly enjoyed both. The movie is different from the book but they both so good. The movie has Charlie Cox, who is adorable though.

I'm gonna jump on the Stardust bandwagon. I have never read the book, but I really really love the movie. I was surprised as how much I loved it...my cheap ass was even thinking of buying it.

The book is pretty awesome so I definitely plan on seeing the movie. I'm just wondering what to expect.

The movie is definitely enjoyable, but I thought some of the magic from the book was missing.

I am forever telling Neil that the movie got the end of the story right.

"But...but it's my story. I made it up. My ending is what really happened", is what he says.

But he's wrong. It's all about the movie.

I really enjoy the movie, but I love it for Mark Strong, who plays Septimus absolutely perfectly. I actually have the cloak he wears in the movie hanging in my closet. Sometimes it is fun to have the connections.

Also you get to see Sienna Miller being a whore and getting her comeuppance. So that's good. And Mr. Weasley is in it as a goat.

So yes! Go watch it! It will make you happy!

Lol props to you for not kissing the ground he walks on xD

I'm extremely curious to see the movie now cause everyone keeps talking about the movie ending being so good! I'm excited!

You have Septimus' cloak you lucky dog? That's too awesome. I hate you a little bit...

Nah, I don't really =D

I'm glad that Sienna Miller is Victoria cause if she has been Yvaine I woulda been PISSED. No thank you. WEASLEY! ♥

I shall tonight! I downloaded it earlier LOL
