Personal Fic~

This is just something I wrote with my friend, between our two characters Ayden and Ian. ^^ Their first kiss~

“It kinda feels like we’re in some weird, trippy music video….” Ayden mumbled, watching as the sky spun in a slow circle, darkening a little with each full rotation. It was a wonder he wasn’t too dizzy to function yet, but he wouldn’t care even if he was. Ayden’s iPod was lying against the cool metal of the park merry-go-round, one of the headphones in his own ear, the other in Ian’s. Every now and then the merry-go-round would start slowing, and they would both squirm a bit to get a hand on the ground to push it. It was kind of difficult to do, but they managed, and it was worth it, because it was nice.

Ian laughed a little at what Ayden said, before blushing a little as he felt the dark haired boy take his hand. They’d held hands before, Ayden was kind of clingy sometimes, but this was different somehow. He turned his head so he could look at Ayden, smiling a little. “You look really pretty…” he said quietly, just lout enough to be heard over the music they were sharing.

Ayden blinked a few times, looking over at Ian. Everything was spinning around them, and it was weird, only focusing on Ian’s face, but a smile was slowly growing on his own face. “Thanks,” he murmured, squeezing Ian’s hand a little. “And, y’know, you’re kind of… really pretty all the time,” he replied, almost as quietly. The sixteen-year-old let out a tiny giggle at the blush that started burning on Ian’s face, lacing his fingers through the blonde’s. “You’re also cute when you blush.”

“No, I’m not,” Ian said, almost whining, turning his head away from Ayden, blushing even harder.

Ayden’s smile widened, and when the merry-go-round started slowing, he didn’t move to start it again. Instead, he sat up, reaching out with his free hand to turn Ian’s face towards him again. “Yeah. You are,” he insisted, smiling a little. He was quiet for a long moment, before leaning in, tentatively pressing his lips to Ian’s. His heart kind of skipped a little when he did it, and he was nervous, but so was Ian, in an increasingly larger amount.

But after the initial shock of the kiss wore off, Ian was kissing back. It was a soft, gentle sort of kiss, and there was something burning deep under it, but both boys were content to ignore that for now. After a minute, Ian was the first to pull away, a shy expression on his face as he looked up at Ayden.

“….hi,” he said, quietly, and Ayden couldn’t help but laugh a little, pulling away enough so he could push the merry-go-round into starting again, lying back down on the bottom of it. Though now he was sort of turned into Ian, one arm draped across his stomach.

“Hi,” he replied, looking back up at the sky. Ian smiled a little, still reeling from the kiss, and took Ayden’s hand.
