Just back from 1st Night Boston. It wasn't that crowded this year, probably because it's, like, 30 degrees outside (good thing I had the brandy flask and the long underwear :D ). The fireworks were breathtaking out over the harbor tonight, the water still like glass and reflective, big booms echoing off the skyscrapers downtown.

I made a hotel reservation at the New Yorker Hotel for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I'll probably take Amtrak down on Thursday night and back on Sunday night, but haven't booked those tickets yet. I still need to register for the con too.
