NY Anime Festival Dec 2007

Just back from NYC and NYAF. This con was on the leeetle-ish size in numbers but way big in awesome people and hot announcements. I'm just gonna set this all down while I can still remember it, forgive the stream-of-consciousness and lack of grammar. ^_^;;;

THURSDAY (morning 7:15am *wah*)
Took the Acela down from South station: 3 and 1/2 hours to NYC

Gross! The thought of the men of the manga industry making out with each other is going to be seared into my brain for all eternity.

They'd make a rawkin' pin-up calendar, perhaps, but no doujinshi!! (although Hassler manga-fied... hmmm...)

I brought you a piece of strawberry cake back from Kinokunya on Sunday but you'd already left for the airport. And AFTER I'd made them wrap it attractively in a little box with a gold foil seal! That was definitely bonus cake for Svet. :D

I didn't even realize Rem was at the con! I really like her art art on Vampire Kisses a lot and am curious if she's had other works published. She's be so awesome for an Agnes Quill manga... :D

And how did I completely miss that Nightschool banner!! New Yorkers are known for never looking up!

You sound really busy lately, B. Did I hear right that you're working on the 2nd Warriors book? On top of everything else?

and well...it's a self-contained story, so it's actually separate from the Warriors manga series XDehe...but YESH! I am working on one...but not quite on top of everything else, as I haven't really started work on MCL 3 yet...chapter summaries are done, but nothing else has been started and won't be till probably mid January...gonna give myself at least a LIL break between the Warriors book and MCL 3 ;__;...need to recover from that AND the holidays! @,@ oro!...maybe even sneak in some me time and work on a certain new series propose that was birthed/brainstormed in your attic one very fine arteeeeeeest weekend! XDehe
