I got a virus from I don't know where this morning and now my laptop is a wreck. It's not an online thing, since I can still post here but Internet Explorer is the only thing I can use now. I think it's a CPU thing, since it reports that I have a low drive memory or something and Windows Explorer is to full capacity. That thing is like a time bomb

Ok, you need to download Ad-Aware SE and run that. You also need to dl Spybot and run that. That is just in case. You say it's not an online virus, well, they can do a lot and still let you run IE. Just dl those and run that and then get back to me if nothing happen and I'll come up with some more solutions for you.

I'm gonna try Ad-Aware SE and get back to you with that one, cause I already have/used Spybot and it doesn't solve a thing, though other times, it did. BTW, this is the only way to keep in touch for now or email, since nothing works anymore. :(

awww :( do you update it daily? you should live update it, in order to recognize new threats/Virus.

Yeah, I do, it's not that... I don't know what happened this time. And considering I can't open the thing now, I can't find out. :( I managed to DL some online/trial antiviruses and I'm scanning the damn comp now, to see what I get.

Aww hun! *hugs* I am so sorry about your laptop! I swear that numerous times I've had viruses on my computer..arg. I know that even one time, it completely deleted everything and all my date was lost. Let me tell you that I wasn't a happy camper. Now, I really hope that your computer start working properly! Just download virus protection like someone has already recommended and hopefully that works out the problem. Just make sure to update the virus protection. Pain in the ass, but mind as well better than having a deadly virus on your computer right? *hugs*
