I have a dilemma, although I think I grok the logical answer at this point.  My heart disagrees, though.

honestly, I can understand your dilemma.. but I think its moot. you need to pass that test the first time, so stay home and study. just mho. :)

First rule of emergency medicine.. you have take care of yourself before you can help others.

You need to get yourself established first, you will be more help to your friends that way

I agree with the other commenters. Working toward your long term goal of helping lots of people is more important than showing support once in the short term.
