My boys have left this hood

I walked into work today with news I was not expecting. Seven out of 12 of my students ran on Friday night around 11 pm. We have not had a mass exodus like this in many years. The fact that some of the students ran was not surprising; they had been acting out and staff uncovered that two of the residents had been in a serious physical altercation

hopefully the statistics will prove true - that they won't stay gone very long before being picked up. unfortunately they'll face some pretty serious consequences if they're violating probation - - boys don't run very frequently, and in situations like this - they're often being harbored by family. hopefully they won't leave the area, and won't get into too much trouble while they're out. maybe they'll get called in and me and carmen will find them for you (:
