So the verdict is in and I have a post-rotator cuff labral tear. I have to have surgery in early December. I've never been under the knife and I'm rather scared to do it. I have to continue going to physical therapy for another month and then they are going to scope my shoulder and fix it all up. It all gives me the heeby geebies

Coming from an athletic trainer, and hopefully one day a physical therapist, surgery on athletes is about as routine as buying new kleats these days. In other words, don't worry! Be happy!

Good luck making up your mind and all. I always have trouble with that too.
