Earlier today I told Karen it was Friday the 13th. "Oh, it's usually a lucky day for me," she cheerfully replied. Cool, I thought. Maybe we should buy a lottery ticket.

Instead, I got an email telling me that my poem Five Phases to Fat was selected for publication in Eclipse, a literary journal published by Glendale College.

HOORAY! That is so wonderful...what do we have to do to get our own copy? What a great way to kick off the summer, published poet!

RAD! Pride in ones accomplishments goes farther than money! Doesn't buy as much chocolate, but is better for your figure anyway :)

Congratulations, that's so cool! You know, I got a poem accepted into Eclipse too, Mr. Edelman (sp*) told me to send a copy of it to some email address along with a bio... but I never heard back from him after sending it in! I have no idea what's going on. Do you happen to know when the copies are going to be printed?
