You know what I like about “What’s My Line”? Lots of things actually, the clothes (and that the ladies refer to them as costumes), gloves, proper bow ties; how the men never fail to stand and shake a woman’s hand, how the women do not stand. Proper manner at the proper time.

But I am most captivated by the language.If I spoke in sentences such as
