Correction: marijuana is "the" gateway drug, and only if you're stupid enough to treat it as such. Don't make the mistake that because someone smokes, they suddenly have no brain or self-control. Sweetheart, you've always got a choice. Now, I'm not saying that our lovely Dee should have taken the cigarette, since cigs are pretty pointless unless you happen to be at a bar in Europe, but as for "getting out ok", for your information, most people don't offer cigarettes at all. Smokers tend to hoard and only give grudgingly, so this Libby was probably making a nice overture. Drug dealers in general will not force you to take anything, because they like to be paid. Honestly. You don't want to smoke, just say no.
