I have to do a paper for my anthropology class on a culture or a subculture. I'm the oldest person in the class and I can already predict how many punk, gothic, etc papers there are going to be. Does anyone have any suggestions on a semi-interesting topic? I need to turn one in Monday......

Hmm. Does it have to be a current subculture? There might be some possibilities here

I've recently read some interesting stuff about Teddy Girls/Boys, but we're talking 1950's here. Good luck!

I'm sure that it could be something like that. The modern rockabilly kids have there roots in the Teddy Boys. I don't know though. I kinda wanted to stay away from music type stuff.
