Just got back from seeing this with my mom. I think I would have liked it a lot more if it wasn't for all the fucking singing! Oh, and Sweeney Todd's look is even a more blatant rip off then I thought it would be. I think it's time for Mr. Depp to own up.........

So I just finished watching a very bad bootleg copy of Song of the South in an effort to understand what all the fuss is about. I'm more confused then ever. Taking into account other movies made in the 40's, it actually seems pretty tame. Sure there is the stereotypical "yes m'am" stuff, but that was present in almost every movie. For all of you Young Ones fans, I ran across a video this morning of Ade Edmundson (Vivian from the Young Ones) doing an "interesting" cover of Anarchy in the UK. I realized recently what my biggest pet peeve is. I don't know when this trend started, but it is gettting worse. No one wants to take responsibility for their actions. I have a new kitten! His name is Criswell and he's a Japanese Bobtail. He's a budle of energy and is harrassing my other cat to no end. So far, she has just been snarling at him and there have been no physical confrontations.

He's so cute!!!! So far there are no outlandish predictions though. ( The Amazing Criswell )

Only in SoCal would I have to debate between watching TSOL or an 1981 Iggy Pop concert on pay per view.........
