I think the whole kissing thing you were talking about may be due to the conditions: Richard was confessed, so he was only doing this because Annabelle told him to and Kahlan knew that. Clearly she wasn't entirely comfortable with the situation. That kiss gave me the feeling of "wanting-but-knowing-it's-REALLY-wrong", so it turns out hesitant. Also, as you said, it's basically the first time she's doing this so it might also be nerves lol

As for the corset, it does look slightly different ºwº

Yeah I think you must have it there, with the kissing thing. It was simply Bridget and Craig being subtly FANTASTIC at their job and knowing the characters and making the sexytiems that tiny bit awkward. I kind of wish they knew we appreciate the detail, but it's not like one writes to the cast all like “after watching all your loves scenes extensively...” :P

Great recap. Cara's "awkward" look totally cracked me up. IMO, the 2nd half of the ep made up for the somewhat sluggish plot.... And yes, the cast (and generally writing) are doing pretty great so far. Thanks for sharing! -lis

IN SPADES. SPAAAADES. Honestly, it was the sheer surprise of that ending that got me. Usually they try to hook viewers by putting in teasery snippets in the preview. But yeah, it was really a plot ep was it... Who am I kidding, I'm SO not here for the plot!

I almost went with the ‘Floo-powder-powder floo-powder-powder’ from A Very Potter Musical but that seemed a little niche :P

Zedd! He used to get a lot of good lines, hope he re-grows his sense of humour once he's filled up on everyone else's rations :)
