Haha, you know I wasn't that distracted by the darker makeup because they really do chop and change it all the time. Her make up was almost invisible in the pilot, but by 1x17 they were getting pretty dark on the eyeliner. And then in 2x01 it was really heavy on the lipstick. And now charcoal eyes! They're not super consistent with the look, but it's cool that they're experimenting. And anyways, DARK KAHLAN IS SUPER HOT. When she's wearing something that unbelievably BAMFy, for me that pretty much negates arguing over makeup because they've already broken waaay outside The Box of All Seriousness :P

This! Usually as soon as they split up I get a little bored, but the episode played out exceptionally well with everyone split up. AND MORE CARA/KAHLAN ALWAYS, YES.

It's do or die for me, cuz I get the ep midday on Sunday, and then it takes about 12 hours to produce (that's with general lazy Sunday things going on as well) and then I have to go to work early Monday morning. So if I don't get it up on Sunday it drags into the work week and then you start having late nights and blah blah blah. Better to get her done by midnight. I definitely have an incentive to work quickly :P

Looking at my photoshop file now, it's got 16 layers above the actual screencap to achieve what's going on there, but most of them can be turned on and off to allow for night time shot, or to change the glare depending on which direction the sun's coming from. Peeps keep asking about it, maybe I'll make a tute if I get time. But you all keep me really very busy as it is :P
