I used to play Legend of the Red Dragon, on a Bend BBS, I think it was called Radar's Lair. I was "jezebel" and I think at one time I was ranked #3 or #4... I remember chatting with the sysadmin, back when you could see letter for letter what they typed, and when they backspaced. Chatting at .8 words per second. That was fun.

That was back when my uncle used Prodigy.

hahahah yeah...I remember chatting. We had 1 board here...I think it was called Underworld..that actually had 2 lines so if someone was on the other line u could request to chat with them...lol. LOD was awesome...oh and you can't forget Trade Wars...I never got into that one though.

oh holy hell.
We even have a community for one of the BBSs a bunch of my friends and I were on.
I was mass BBSr. I was "Vampress" on serveral Portland BBSs. I had sysop powers on one, and it was all great, until AOL took over and stuff.

whoa really? thats awesome! I was "Buns of Steel"...hehehe. I didn't sysop any of the boards or anything...I did have admin powers on a couple though. You probably had TONS in Portland alone. We had about 20 pretty good ones around here..out of those like 2 were really really good.
