I just saw a trailer for the new Secretariat movie.  I'm so glad they are finally making a movie about the best race horse EVER! It seems they are telling it from Peggy's perspective.  I've read so many books on that horse and I hope they add the flavor of the trainer, the groom and the jockey as well.

The movie's from Disney. I am so happy they are honoring Big Red. He was the most amazing horse of all time.

I knew you had strands from him. I have an autographed crop and pic from Ron Turcotte who rode on that amazing animal. He so deserves a movie telling the public who he was.

I'd love to know what Ron thinks and how true to life it is. I really hope it isn't just the horse in the background as they feature Diane Ladd.

SQUEEE! I love that horse and his legend. I hope that they (rightfully!) make him the star.

I didn't know you were a Secretariat fan! Wow, we've got another thing in common. Baryshinkov and now Scecretariat? The stud of dancing and the stud of horse racing. I loved Big Red so much and watching him run was such a blessing.
