So, uh.... you know how I've been craving a gadget for a while now? Something kinda expensive? And decided on getting as DSi XL? And how I'd also sorta decided to wait until the summer started before buying it?

Apparently all of my woes can be solved by re-installing the device driver. You'd think after three years in the comp sci program at USC I'd know to try that first. xD -

So... it works now? But it still won't run in the browser, just the terminal on the server.
So, there's a perl module that basically overwrites root-access for installing modules (not really, it just makes 'make install' install everything into a directory you do have access to). Knowing this before today would have saved me about a week of absolute frustration.

Glasses Lost?
John found my glasses today- sitting in the front yard of his parents' house where they've apparently been enjoying a vacation for the past two weeks. The only damage they sustained were slightly bent arms (easily fixable), but no scratches or anything on the lenses (well, no more than there were already at least). Very strange ( Read more... )
