On that subject, have you heard Big Wheel? I think you might like it, even though it's pretty rooted in American politics.

Hey, I just wanted to drop back by and say that I used this with my students last semester. I paired it with Cash's version of "Delia's Gone," and we had a wonderful, engaged discussion about violence, gender, society, and rape culture. At least half of my students used it in their papers, and as a touchstone in discussions all the rest of the semester. And at the end of the class, when I had them all write essays defending the one work that they thought I should absolutely keep on the syllabus for next class, the overwhelming winner was this song. So I just wanted to say thanks for pointing me to this!

Oh, that's really cool! I hope you (and your future students) get much enjoyment out of it. Like poems, there can be a surprising amount of meaning packed into songs - I wish we'd studied them more at school/uni.
