Hi there! I get to see two great people at once! How are you doing? Quick update on me in the comment below. Damn, I miss LJ and really need to try to get back to posting, not just drive-by reading.
Wow! It's been forever, but I'm so glad I got to catch up with you. Congratulations on marriage and moving, and you're going to love having a dog. I moved, too - to western NY state - and started my new dream job as an adoption counselor at an animal shelter. Big changes can be fun! Big *hugs* on your marriage and your new life.
Oh wow, HI!! glad to hear from you too, and to know that you're doing well! Your new job sounds ideally suited to you / you to it -- congratulations!
I was actually just thinking of you and hoping you were doing well several times in November -- once when we had stress dogs come to work and got to talking with one of the owners about shiba inus, and once when an LJ friend went to a NaNoWriMo write-in and one of the other participants had brought her sugar gliders along!
(I've gotten worse at timely updates myself, but should be posting an end-of-year meme soonish also. You may be pleased to know that L is still volunteering at the zoo and applying to various biology/zoology majors for college next year. :)
I can't believe L is getting ready to go to college! I'm genuinely thrilled to hear she's looking into zoology/biology as a major. If she's looking/end up out this way - or if you ever just find yourself out here - I have a guestroom. Just saying. (Actually, I have two, but one is inhabited by my two newest chinchillas at the moment.)
The invitation stands for both of you, btw, and VT isn't really all that far. :-)
