Still here, still surviving, and now being watched.

You never realize how much you love privacy until you have lost it all.

So right. I was brought up an only child, so if my privacy is robbed of me, I go insane. First few weeks of college and rez life, I was bouncing off the walls, because I was never alone. Suffocation. But still, things are good now, and I have balanced the yin and yang, and I am pleased.

I completely agree, I too have suffered the terrors of parental units being completely unreasonable! But do fill those of us who are new what happend? We are all nosy and it's amusing to hear of others' lives that are in someway similar to your own.

My parents took away my privacy on my computer, my phone, my room. They somehow managed to know what i was telling my friends over msn, or which webpages i had visited... the list goes on basically all function. They also knew what i was saying over the phone.I got back my privacy by locking my computer. i lock my computer, and litterally all items on my desktop dissapear. everything sent out was encrypted as well as stuff comming in. Then interms of phone, i proceeded to not talk on the home phone, only on my cell. It worked pretty well. i feed them what i want to feed them. I have also aquired another nice little tool. It is good.
