....does LJ seem to be kind of dead or slow lately? I know that I've been so busy that I haven't had much time to comment on friends' journals or even community journals, but I scrolled through some of the places I belong to and noticed they seemed kinda dead too. I guess it's the end of the summer thing

I agree, M. I've had to put LJ on the back-burner lately, as it's been so busy with work and the extra summer class. It just wipes me out.

And yeah, time flies. When I left for Korea in December, my bro was shorter than me; when I visited in July, he was taller than me with peach fuzz! I remember when he was so small I was picking him up with one arm!

Unbelievable.
