Cat.

Because they are more subtle. They also are easier to live with, more tactile, have softer paws and don't smell bad.
Oh, and cats purr.

Ive recently became a cat person, about 10 years ago. Always had dogs. They are fiercely loyal but there is something about cats that warms my heart. I like that they are independent. My cats are affectionate and I love that. In early Egypt, cats were worshipped and I continue to do so.=^..^=

Cat of course, you have to earn their affection and they are so graceful and cuddly too.

I love that cats are dual-natured and are distinct in their personalities, responding to each person differently.
